The meeting house is available for self-catering short term stays. It is located 21 kms out of Margaret River in the south west of Western Australia, three hours’ drive from Perth Western Australia. There are many nearby wineries, forests, farms, art galleries to visit, and Margaret River has some of the best surfing beaches in the world. Larger families from across Australia have stayed here on a weekly basis on twinshare accommodation on the mezzanine floor and two luxurious bathrooms. There are ten beds, but room for more if they are prepared to sleep on the very comfortable sofas downstairs or in the nearby studio. This makes it ideal for large parties if guests do not wish to travel home late at night.
The meeting house contains many beautiful artefacts and artworks from many different cultures. Many of these come from Kashgar, a wonderful shop in Sydney which you can visit. This site also has articles on different cultures, the meaning of gem stones, exotic cultures.
The meeting house has large gongs, singing bowls, flutes, drums, making improvised concerts possible, and is ideal for holding small concerts. Loren Kate launched her 2013 album here with great success.
The studio
Close by is a larger open studio equipped with two separate bedrooms, a commercial kitchen, a bathroom with two hot showers, and a small barbecue area, making larger meetings or concerts possible but also providing space for bunk bed accommodation for larger school camps.
